Quest Guide: Into the Fray

Any Map walkthrough for Into the Fray with objectives, prep, route order, and extract notes.

Into the Fray is a kill & collect in ARC Raiders. This version is written as a practical raid plan: what to bring, the order to run the steps in, and what usually kills the run once the quest is technically done.

Objective list

  • Destroy a Leaper
  • Obtain a Leaper Pulse Unit

What to bring

  • A reliable mid-range primary and a sidearm or close-range backup; most quest deaths happen while rotating, not while looting.
  • Spare ammo, one explosive or stun option, and shield sustain. Kill quests snowball fast when you tunnel on the target and ignore the third party.
  • Put any required stash items in your secure slot or the safest inventory space before you queue. Do not trust yourself to remember them after you deploy.

Bring these items in from stash

  • Leaper Pulse Unit x1

If one of these items fits in a safe pocket, use it. The easiest way to brick a clean route is to lose the one thing the objective needs.

How to run it

This quest is flexible on map choice. Pick the map where your squad already knows the extracts, then prioritize the objective over loot. For kill-and-collect steps, choose a map where the target ARC spawns consistently and you have room to reset the fight.

  1. Step 1: Destroy a Leaper

Commit to the kill only when you have cover and an exit line. If the quest also wants a driver, cell, or relay, vacuum the drop before you rotate away.

  2. Step 2: Obtain a Leaper Pulse Unit

Treat this as the hand-off moment. If the item can fit in a safe pocket, do that immediately. If not, stop gambling and start planning your extract.

Where players usually throw this quest

  • Forgetting a required stash item, or carrying it in a loose slot where one bad decision turns the run into a wipe.
  • Finishing the item step and then greed-looting instead of extracting while the objective is still fresh and uncontested.
  • Tunnel-visioning the target ARC and then forgetting to loot the driver, vault, cell, or relay the quest actually needs.
  • Taking a fight on the way out just because you hear it. Quest raids are won by discipline, not by K/D.

Miswired note

If the target ARC is not spawning cleanly, reset the raid or change map. Flexible quests are supposed to bend around your route, not the other way round.
