Quest Guide: Industrial Espionage

Area Objective walkthrough for Industrial Espionage with objectives, prep, route order, and extract notes.

Industrial Espionage is a fetch & deliver in ARC Raiders. This version is written as a practical raid plan: what to bring, the order to run the steps in, and what usually kills the run once the quest is technically done.

Objective list

  • Find Tian Wen's weapon cache near the Gas Station in the Outskirts
  • Deliver the Burletta to the rival weapon cache
  • Plant a bug on the weapon cache

What to bring

  • A reliable mid-range primary and a sidearm or close-range backup; most quest deaths happen while rotating, not while looting.
  • Put any required stash items in your secure slot or the safest inventory space before you queue. Do not trust yourself to remember them after you deploy.
  • Enough meds and shields to survive two rotations; multi-location quests punish players who arrive at the final step with no resources left.

Bring these items in from stash

  • Burletta I x1

If one of these items fits in a safe pocket, use it. The easiest way to brick a clean route is to lose the one thing the objective needs.

How to run it

Plan the raid around the first named objective and your nearest safe extract, not around the fattest loot route. If the quest item drops into your inventory, the raid is now an escort mission and everything else is optional.

  1. Step 1: Find Tian Wen's weapon cache near the Gas Station in the Outskirts

Once you are at the point of interest, clear the nearest angle first, then interact. Most misses on this step happen because players sprint past the actual prompt or loot through the room too early.

  2. Step 2: Deliver the Burletta to the rival weapon cache

Do not queue extra looting on the way back. Once the item is in your bag, your next win condition is simply getting out alive.

  3. Step 3: Plant a bug on the weapon cache

Treat this as a hard objective, not a side stop. Finish the interaction, confirm the quest tracker updates, then rotate before the next squad arrives.

Where players usually throw this quest

  • Forgetting a required stash item, or carrying it in a loose slot where one bad decision turns the run into a wipe.
  • Finishing the item step and then greed-looting instead of extracting while the objective is still fresh and uncontested.
  • Taking a fight on the way out just because you hear it. Quest raids are won by discipline, not by K/D.

Miswired note

Use the named area as your anchor, then plan your extract before you touch the objective. That matters more than another backpack worth of salvage on Area Objective.
